The idea of ​​forming a new informative and objective Roma newspaper appeared in an informal conversation between several journalist activists and activists for the protection of Roma rights.

Because of:

- The bad way of reporting in which the media portrays this largest European ethnic community and is characterized by negative bias.

- Members of this minority group are rarely represented in the media, but if they are represented then they are represented or presented with negative attributes that differentiate them from the majority.

Due to such reasons, we agreed to form a team of network journalists from different countries whose goal is to create a block of information through the new web portal Euromapres, which will give priority to this marginalized group.

The information will contain a wide range of current events around the world, analysis, columns, local, regional, European and world news, topics from sports, culture, entertainment, technology, history…

Our network of journalists, which currently has 12 members, covers the entire territory of Europe, Latin America, Canada and Turkey.

There is a great interest of Roma classic journalists, professionals and amateurs who want to be part of our team for which they are welcome.
In the near future it is planned that Euromapres will broadcast live shows via Live streaming, where it will organize debates, of different categories.
